Cheap Entertainment

No, not my belly dancing. Fun on the U Tube with a band that's bringing back a unique sound to the the world of rock-n-roll. OK Go reminds me of the Beatles with a little more edge. Their sound is unbelievable. However, you'll need to check out the lyrics before making a purchase. I'd suggest just downloading your favorites.

Folks, this is too much for me. Three new posts in one night. The madness has got to stop. :) Enjoy!!!!!!

    Fellow Freak

What a surprise about the bald guy! I would have NEVER guessed that one to be your favorite. Yeah, I prefer the tall one, now if he could just dye his hair red.......

I think what makes him my favorite is that he looks like the one that doesn't belong! LOL! He's so funny & cute all dancing it up like he's a Backstreet Boy!

I'm loving this band, by the way. I even added one of the songs to my Myspace profile! Thanks again for bringing them to my attention!

Well, Fellow Freak, I guess you did do a little make over to your myspace, nice background.

Noticed a comment about a crush you had on a certain someone at youth camp. (MK) He's made a name for himself now, you can check him out on the web at (his name)band. (all lower case, no parentheses) You'll have to check it out!

Oh, I am SO EXCITED about this post!!!!

Why?? You might ask - - - - - WELL HERE'S WHY - - - - I heard an interview with this band's leader over a year ago on NPR!!!! Yep - - - you got it - - - - National Public Radio - - - that station that my family gives em FITS about listening to - - - - - the station most think is for OLD people!!!! Same place I learned that there is a WILD CHICKENS ROOSTING IN TREES problem in the Keys.

Well - - - - - in that interview, the band leader said that they started doing this style of choreography as a JOKE!!! The second song you have posted was the first one they did. They wanted something fun and funny, that also looked intentional, for a video release they were making. The SISTER of the lead helped them with it, and they did it in a rather 'homemade' style in their back yard etc. Then the people loved it and it was a big hit.

I FIRST saw this video clip from the NPR web page after being referred their by the news story I heard on NPR!!!!

This old unfreakazoid grandma heard and saw it FIRST!!!!!!!!! Woooo Hoooo

    BTW - - - - I also LOVED it.

I sent him an email, but he's obviously WAY too famous and busy to respond!! Hehehehe

    Yo Funny Lady!

Thanks for the BIG surprise. When someone handed it to me, I started chuckling.

    Nice handwriting. :)

P.S. Did you eat the lemon bar that was suppose to sent with it? Hahahahahahahaha.

The lemon bar that goes WITH it is a virtual one which you will find on Derby Doings!!!!

Funny thing - - - - the "special delivery" person to whom I entrusted it isn't the "special delivery" person who ultimately handed it over.

SO - - - I guess the last laugh was on me after all!!! :-)

Here's another little factoid for you. I went to Starbucks last Friday to use up a little money I had on a card. So, what to do? Yes, you already know. I pulled around the drive thru and I hear my friend's voice and so I say, "Hi T****! It's your favorite lemon bar fan coming to bug you." She says, "Hey K*****, how are you doing?" I laughed and said, "It's not K*****, it's ******." She laughed and said, "A lady named K***** always says that when she comes here too." I wanted to say it, but I didn't because I'd be lying. But I thought to myself, K*****, do I know her? :)

But then let's ponder a thought here, how well do we really know someone we just talk to over the web anyway???????? For all you know, I appear to be your average blogger, but down-deep, I might be a physcho plotting against the entire family. Ooooohhhhhh. Is that twilight zone music I'm hearing? :)

The psycho thing doesn't scare me because:

    1) No one is more psycho than I

    2) I already have a peeping Tom for a neighbor who definitely knows where we live, that's way more scary than some obscure web threat

    3) If a psycho wants to find me online, all he has to do is go to the online white pages - - - - - - all our info is already there - - - - including the year, day, hour, minute and second we last coughed

    4) I may not know you in person, but I know lots of persons who know you in person - - - - - I think we're all pretty safe

I know her in person, and let me tell you, you are not safe.

    LOL Deb!!!!!

Well - - - I'm not nearly as scared of Anon as I am of the sleezy character who lives across the street right here in my own neighborhood!!!!!

Aren't we the little comedian, Cool Sis? :)

Funny Lady, I forgot to mention a little detail, I happen to be pals with that neighbor of yours. He checks my blog on a daily basis. :)
