Where's the Beef?

The line from one of my favorite commercials when I was a teenager. I absolutely LOVE great commercials, especially the ones that make you laugh out loud. Whoops, I've forgotten how to type in Blog World. Excuuuuse me, I meant LOL. :) I barely have time to catch the news on TV anymore, but as I was cleaning up the kitchen tonight, I began to hear a familiar tune by REO Speedwagon. So, I looked across the way to see what was going to happen. In the advertisement, there are white collared business men working on their lab tops in what appears to be an "office looking" room. The melody of the song takes the men "back in time". Turns out that these guys are working on a high speed Internet connection in, of course, a Holiday Inn. Maybe I'm totally out of the loop since this is the first time I've been able to concentrate on any televised programming since the school year started, but it's hilarious! For those of you with DVR, you'll have to look for this one.

Commercials? Maybe you can think of a few that strike you off the bat because I like strolling down memory lane too. From McDonald's jingle to Aflac, sometimes, I'd rather watch the commercials than the programming.

On the other hand, there's always the annoying commercials like guys sitting around, strumming guitars and singing "Viva Viagra". GIVE ME A BREAK! Yeah, I'm sure studios in Nashville are lined with musicians trying to pluck a new tune to sing about Viagra.

I miss y'all!
